Spring is here! And with it comes in new beginning, and the reminder that now is the time to plant all the ideas to the seeds of your life that you want to grow and tend to throughout the next year.
Songs of the Season:

“Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles
“She’s a Rainbow” by The Rolling Stones
“Oye Mi Amor” by Maná
“La Vida es Un Carnaval” by Celia Cruz
“Pineapple Skies” by Miguel
“American Girls” by Harry Styles
The Cosmic Sign: Petals on Pavement.
When you see flowers scattered on sidewalks, caught in the wind, or floating in puddles, it’s a reminder that beauty rarely stays perfectly attached to its branch. Growth and evolution often look messy. The universe is reminding you that movement, falling, is part of the bloom.
Quote of the Month:
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” — Anaïs Nin
Themes of the season:
Self-compassion. The thing about spring is, we’re planting the seeds of reinvention. Of who we want to grow into. With that often times comes critiquing, which doesn’t lend itself well to self compassion. So thank the parts of you that you are ready to let go of. Thank them for everything that they’ve done, and for helping get you to wear, you needed to be or where you wanted it to be. Look at them with love when letting go. But also look at the other amazing attributes that you have. Give yourself that extra love and that extra grace, that you are doing life the best that you can. You’re using the tools that you have the best that you can. Also, give yourself what you want, treat yourself! The other thing I would say about self compassion is to treat it as though you would treat like a queen, or someone you really admire or someone you really love like a child. Look at yourself with admiration and through eyes of love. You’ve been through it, you deserve compassion. And instead of seeking it from others, give it to yourself.
Book of the season: One & Only by Maureen Goo. I went into this blind; all I knew was that our main character came from a long line of matchmakers, from Korea to LA. Think soulmates, the red string theory, and fated love. I don’t want to reveal too much, just know it was so good that I’m debating picking it back up. I read it in 2 sittings, and it got me out of my book slump. The perfect Spring book and goes along with the themes of the month!
Stay tuned for the pillars of the month coming next week!
