Weekly Whimsy
Notes from a fairy Vol 1
Just trying to add a little bit of sparkle into your day. And I am considering calling this notes from a fairy, because it’s just so cute to imagine a fairy granting you all the cutesy things you want and need. And then also using that make believe to remind yourself that you’re a powerful magnetic being floating on a ball in the middle of the universe which then causes you to remember that, oh yeah, life is pretty magical too!
I sometimes worry about how Notes from a Fairy will sound to others, as I don’t want to turn people away, and for it to sound too childish. But then that’s when the inner conflict shows up, because why not always show up as me!
But weekly whimsy sounds cute too.
Okay, so today I wanted to talk about making wishes:
Practice: Write down one small, low-resistance wish. Something sweet, simple, and almost silly.
Journal Prompt: What would feel delightful to receive this week?
I Declare: Little miracles find me easily.
Make a little wish; it could be something completely unattainable. Write it down in your notes app on your phone or in a notebook with the date, and just take a second to visualize yourself receiving it and let it go. Send it out into the universe. Things are more powerful when we are manifesting together! Let’s see how quickly we can manifest when things have little to no resistance!
I’ve been thinking about how often we save our biggest hopes for some faraway version of ourselves. We make manifestations of these colossal things we need to bring in to change our lives. We attach so much pressure to the things we want that sometimes the wanting starts to feel like work. Like if we don’t believe hard enough, visualize correctly enough, journal beautifully enough, or become healed enough, the thing won’t come.
What if it could be as simple as making one little wish and letting it go?
If you don’t want to think of it as a wish, think of it as a prayer. Just put it out there. When you decide, the Universe knows what direction to grant your wish!
I just spent the morning writing down what I want, why not try it today?
